About me
I’m a purpose-driven communications consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and private sectors. I partner with mission-based organizations to develop communications strategies, tell stories of impact, build donor support, and advocate for a better world.
My career has focused on advancing health and social justice at the local, state, national, and global levels, including in countries across Africa and Asia. I have held communications leadership positions for large maternal and child health and other global health projects funded by the United States government and the Gates Foundation. My experience also includes consulting on state and national environmental health communications campaigns and managing marketing and communications strategies for technology companies and nonprofit social service programs.
As an independent consultant for more than five years, I've collaborated with clients, such as Cornell University and Helen Keller International, to share impactful stories from their vital health programs. I'm especially dedicated to collaborating with clients to make scientific research and program results accessible to diverse audiences.
I hold a Master of Public Health degree from The George Washington University, where I was honored by the Delta Omega Public Health Honorary Society for academic achievement.
Outside of work, I'm an avid traveler and a regular UN volunteer. I'm based in Austin, TX, where I love paddling local lakes and exploring hiking trails with my family.
